I guess it took a little while longer to post in 2009 than I thought. So this is my first post this year. Noting special as usual.  The site is now running on a Rackspace Cloud server. The previous host, A Small Orange was fine and I didn’t really have any complaints but I wanted to have a real server and the Rackspace Cloud Server was a cheap solution.  I have my very own Centos instance running in less than 30 minutes (They take about 15-20 minutes to call your go verify the the account).

I was doing a bit of cleanup with the photos of my recent honeymoon in Maui. Apparently they got Jesus to come over there.

ESPN must think this years NFL draft is going to be big ratings. I think they usually burry this the start sometime in the morning here. Now it’s starting tomorrow at 3PM. Maybe Mel Kiper Jr. gave ESPN some hardcore stats on how people will watch it later in the day. Well Mel Kiper Jr. is the only guy that I will listen to talk about “ball skills” and “ball control.” Any other guy talking about those subjects is just strange. Hopefully Kiper’s prediction will go up this year. So far it doesn’t look good with the Dolphins taking Jake Long.

I had no idea Johnny Depp was going to be filming at the Paramont this morning. I guess there were a few hundred excited people to take my place. At least he’s making a movie where he doesn’t sing. Maybe the next they film 10 minutes away from me, I’ll pay attention.

There’s always hope for a Wayne’s World 3 and maybe they might actually film in Aurora.
